Revealing the newest school being designed at the KSA Studio. Child psychology has been the driving factor towards designing the building. The clean and linear lines, use of earthy colors have helped nature to take over the building. Internal spaces are designed in a way to maximize natural daylight so the views open in the green spaces. Landscape design has been another important element of the entire design. Fruit bearing trees are purposely used for adding a fun element and a new activity for kids which is almost non-existing for most of them in cities. School is strategically designed to carve out a playground for kids which is not only important for their personal growth but also helps in keeping the building cool. In-depth sun analysis was performed in the design phase to come up with the optimum location for the playground. The façade design is developed to keep harsh monsoon and excessive heat gain out. Venturi effect is also incorporated in the design through façade design allowing cool breeze inside all the rooms of the building.
